SECTION_01 What Brand Listings Are
Brand entries on the platform identify where community members can buy a brand's products through legitimate channels. Listings are distinguished by type:
- Official storefronts — owned and operated by the brand itself.
- Authorized sellers — independently operated, authorized by the brand to sell its products.
- Third-party sellers — retailers that carry a brand's products without a direct authorization relationship being verifiable.
SECTION_02 Official Storefronts
An official storefront listing links directly to the brand's own website or official store on a marketplace. To be labeled official, the link must point to a channel the brand publicly owns or operates. Claims of official status are verified against the brand's own pages before the label is applied.
SECTION_03 Authorized Sellers
An "authorized seller" label is applied only where the brand publicly lists the seller as authorized, or the seller can demonstrate authorization. Where authorization cannot be verified, the entry is labeled as a third-party seller instead — never guess upward.
SECTION_04 Third-Party Sellers
Sellers that carry a brand's products without verifiable authorization are listed as third-party sellers. This is a neutral label: carrying a product is not evidence of counterfeiting, and KEYDIR makes no accusation by using it. It simply tells the community which channels carry genuine authorization claims.
SECTION_05 Trademark Use
Use of brand names, logos, and product images in listings is limited to nominative identification — referring to the actual brand whose products are being pointed to. This use does not create any affiliation between the brand and KeyDir, and does not transfer any rights. Brands retain all rights in their marks.
Listings must not misrepresent themselves as official when they are not. A third-party seller may not use brand logos or "official" language to imply an endorsement.

SECTION_07 Brand Removal Requests
Brands may request changes to or removal of their entries at any time. Requests are handled under the Data Removal procedure. Requests relating to trademark misuse should reference the relevant mark and the specific listing; see also the DMCA procedure for copyright matters.
SECTION_08 Contact
Brand representatives and sellers can reach KeyDir through the Contact page or by email to officialkeydir.in@gmail.com.
